How do we start the web design process?
It’s easy! After you’ve scheduled an appointment and met with me, I walk you through the steps of what we would need. Everyone’s a little bit different, so I try to streamline a timeframe that works best with your schedule. I send an invoice over and once that is paid, I send over a Web Design Form that has a 30-45 minute questionnaire for you to fill out. These questions help me collect data.
Is there a benefit for a bigger page count for websites?
Search Engines love seeing pages dedicated to specific topics. If you have three services (for example: branding, web design, and email marketing), breaking those into individual pages helps sites like Google rank each of these pages for specific keywords. Additionally, customers and site visitors love to easily navigate topics that interest them!
I always suggest starting with a 3-5 page website.
How long does the website development take to go live?
The timeline for website development may vary depending on the complexity and extent of the content. For larger projects, I may require additional time to ensure meticulous attention to detail. Generally, I estimate a timeframe of 4-6 weeks for most websites, assuming prompt content delivery and feedback from the client throughout the developmental process.
Will I be able to offer feedback during the the design process?
Absolutely! As part of the design process, we reach a “draft” phase where we create all the pages and structure the loading sequence. During this phase, I will collaborate with you to gather any specific content or photos that you would like to include. Effective communication at this stage is crucial to ensure that your website captures your vision and meets your requirements.
What would be the cost of adding an extra page beyond the agreed number?
If you wish to include an additional page beyond the agreed number in your website package, there is an associated cost of $250 per page. This fee covers the design, development, and integration of the extra page to ensure it seamlessly aligns with the rest of your website.
Is SEO included in web design services?
I ensure baseline SEO services with website prices. What this means is we attribute keyword-focused copy, image optimization, and metadata creation.
We do not offer ongoing SEO services or paid Google Ads.
Do you offer post-launch support?
Absolutely! Once your website is live, I offer two weeks of support that covers any necessary edits or adjustments to the copy, design, or technical aspects of your site. This ensures that you have the assistance you need to address any post-launch requirements and make sure your website is running smoothly.
